Another week(s) in the DR (09/05/2022)

Hello all!

Sorry I haven't written in a long time, but I am still alive! It is still hot here, but some days we have nice breezes that are cold! Those are fun.

We sometimes get rain without any clouds above us, and we sometimes hear big thunder rumblies with blue skies as well. It is always exciting to see what weather we will get haha.

We have been able to see more miracles in our lives! The first is that I finally got sick, but it was only a cold and not from other circumstances. Like when one of our friends made us tea from things in their garden, and there was still dirt on it! It was pretty good though, I have to say.

And for all of you who are wondering, yes I did get to eat a donut for my birthday! I also ate cake. Not on my birthday, but the whole week haha.

We are still teaching our English Connect class, and it has been fun to see them become friends with us lol. They are a very shy bunch, but we will get them to love us one day!!

I want to invite you all to share something nice with someone this week! Either a fun song, a story, Jesus, anything. It will be fun! I promise lol.
