Hola all!!
It was the last week of the transfer here, and we got news last night that Hermana Hutchings is going to Puerto Plata! I'm staying here in Los Jardines, and I'm getting Hermana Silverio! My first Dominican!!
But in other news, it was Hermana Hutchings birthday yesterday! We and all the other missionaries have been on house arrest since Sunday because we have a hurricane wooo!! Santiago is in the middle of the country so all we have is rain right now, but time will tell. It's been fun, but do pray for everyone else because they have more than just a little rain.
On another note, we visited an inactive member, and there was a literal tarantula on her wall. I almost cried during the lesson. I'm not sure how you kill something that big. Lots of prayers were said, and it didn't attack us lol.
A different member is very excited for the rain, and she has been praying for a big storm. When we visited, she was preparing for her prayers to be answered. So learn from her! Prepare for your prayers to be answered!!!
Oh and listen to Master, the Tempest Is Raging lol.
