Merry Late Christmas! (12/26/2022)

I can't remember what I said before, but I'm now in Puerto Plata! We have an Uber driver we call, and he's the best lol. He's going to be baptized in a few weeks, but he's being taught by the other hermanas. We don't use the Uber app here, just taxis. 

We also sometimes get to use little boats to cross a really smelly river to avoid a big road. We have only used it once so far because we had to yell to try and get someone to bring the boat over, and then when they did the guy who pulled it over left. But then some other dudes came and pulled us across haha. My comp doesn't know how to swim, so she just clings on to me and her old comp when we cross. 

We had a mission-wide dinner and activity on Tuesday and Wednesday, and it was so fun to be able to see almost all of my comps again. We also got invited to eat dinner at a member's house on the 24th! Wheeee

I hope you all enjoyed this Christmas season in the cold or in the heat, and that now it's over that you can still remember Jesus everyday! Every time you have leftovers and use your presents, think of Jesus.
